General Information
Daedric Heavy armor is another one that doesn’t change from low-level to high-level, and again, is ideal for players who are leveling their roleplay character but wish to maintain a cohesive ‘look’ throughout their leveling experience.
What are the components?
This chestpiece features a tightly fitted long-sleeved leather shirt accented with stitch marks, and is attached to the actual plate armor via confusing metal-looking straps. There are very prominent metal breast-cups for female characters, which may be a desirable feature, depending on personal preference. Please note: This armor looks significantly different on male characters than on female characters as a result of these breast-cups being present in the latter, but not the former.
Considerations when dyeing
This armor may surprise you with just how well it dyes! When I first put it on, I was not a fan – but as soon as I toyed with the colors, I began to appreciate this set a great deal more than I had. Be aware that the little white belt-buckle does not change with dyes, and that the leather portions dye like leather, and may not take on a pure hue as a result.
What dyes where?
The first dye-slot controls the actual plates on the armor; the second dye-slot changes the color of the trimming; and the third dye-slot adjusts the color of the leather worn beneath the plates themselves. Again, this leather may not take on the most vibrant colors, and tends to have a muddied appearance.
