Barbaric Heavy – Chest

Female, Front Female, Side Male, Front

General Information

Barbaric is one of the armors that doesn’t change as you level, so if you wish to keep a consistent look to your character, this is an ideal choice. A heavy armor that appears to have no metal or chitinous components, this is certainly a unique look and puts one in mind of Reachman!

What are the components?
This armor is made up of hardened leather in layers, with plenty of straps and stitching detail. It appears to be a long-sleeved leather shirt with a broad band across the chest, accented by stitching, fur, and more wraps of leather. There are bands across the biceps, and a wide brand around the waist. There’s some interesting detail with what appear to be rib bones stitched onto the hip-pieces.

Considerations when dyeing
This armor does not dye super well, I’ll be honest. Every color it takes is muddied and not very saturated. The shaggy fur lining on the band that crosses the chest diagonally remains a dark brown/black in shade. Still, if you’re looking for hardened leather, you should probably be prepared for your hues to be a little less vibrant anyway.

What dyes where?
The primary dye takes on the largest portion of the armor – namely, the shirt beneath the straps. The secondary dye is the accent color which crosses the stitching over the various bands, and the tertiary color adjusts the color of the bands themselves, the bracers, and the crotch-flap and pauldrons.

Primary Dye: Eyevea Blue
Secondary Dye: Moonstone White
Tertiary Dye: Eyevea Blue
Primary Dye: Dominion Conqueror Yellow
Secondary Dye: Dominion Conqueror Yellow
Tertiary Dye: Dominion Conqueror Yellow
Primary Dye: Dibella’s Blush
Secondary Dye: Mort Flesh White
Tertiary Dye: Nightshade Purple
